Sterling Heights Remodel Gets a Modern Upgrade with Norman Roller Shades

We recently completed a stunning install in Sterling Heights, Michigan, where our clients had just finished remodeling their home. The final step in bringing their design together was replacing outdated vinyl vertical blinds with custom roller shades from Norman® USA — and the transformation was incredible.

Clean Lines, Soft Light

On the main floor, our clients selected light-filtering roller shades to let in plenty of natural light while maintaining privacy. The soft, diffused light brightens each space and shows off the home’s refreshed finishes.

Upstairs, we installed room-darkening shades for a cozy, restful feel in the bedrooms and loft — perfect for evening comfort and uninterrupted sleep. Every window was finished with a fabric-wrapped valance, giving each shade a sleek, designer touch.

Dual Roller Shades for a Versatile Great Room

In the great room, we introduced a dual roller shade system for maximum flexibility. Behind the front shade sits a sheer, light-filtering fabric that allows sunlight to fill the space while protecting the room from harsh UV rays. For added privacy in the evening, the front shade features the same fabric used in the kitchen, creating a cohesive design flow throughout the main living areas.

Designer Hardware That Elevates Every Space You Remodel

In the kitchen and primary bathroom, we featured Norman’s new premium decorative hardware in a modern open-roll style. This slimmer design offers a cleaner, less bulky appearance while complementing the rest of the home’s updated aesthetic.

Our clients chose a brass finish to match their new fixtures, but Norman’s hardware also comes in metallic black, silver, and bronze — giving homeowners plenty of stylish options to coordinate with their décor.
